Something went pop in my lower back last year when I was doing stiff leg deads.
I have no idea how as my back was in a good postural position. It was such a sharp and acute pain that I dropped to my knees instantly and pretty much had to crawl to my car.
Took at least four or five weeks to feel normal again and it was months before I would trust my lower back when going for heavy deads.
Wasn't fun so I can only assume that serious back injuries (herniated discs etc) are an absolute mare.
Does your lower back/hips tilt round at the bottom of your squat? |
